first time I've ever heard of a nurse shark biting someone. Must have been a nasty hicky, they're bottom feeders. I've swam with a whole bunch of them, 9, 10 feet long at least and never seen an aggressive act from any of them. they suck clams and shrimp and flounders and stuff off the bottom.

See the bite mark, more like a sucker than a bitey shark. Looked like it was suctioned pretty good. They have little bitty teeth for grinding shells and stuff.
