Maybe you can get one of those vitamin D lamps to help you out.

soooo the other day had a record setting high temp...well sorta...lowest high temp EVER for that day in May....the storm last weekend....we got MORE rain than we normally get for the whole month of May ....saw on the news a few days ago ...some guys up checking the snow pack....was 18ft above normal....and this morning....Oly has coldest day on record for this date...buttttt..

i've decided ya'll are right!!....it's just me...maybe i've become a whiner or senile....mayyybe it's hallucinations(the 60s were very good to me)..so...

went out a bought EVERY kind of "light" i could get my hands on..set 'em all up in my office and sat there soak'n it up....didnt think it would help but on advice of those farrrr wiser than i persevered...was 1 point where i thought i felt better..but later decided it was because i couldnt see(eyes are used to overcast skies)the huge flucuations in the barometer hang'n on the wall!!!!(my broken back knew tho)....my office is kinda crowded now(all the light fixtures incircling my desk, hanging from the walls and ceiling ect)but i'm sure it will start make'n me feel better...maybe by mid-late July...<shrugs>
a P.S. i still havent been able to locate new fishing glasses(the rose colored 1s)any help would be appreciated....DOG

I heard some guys that have lived here all there life 70+ yers to be exact talking about the weather today. Not just today but they were refering to the last 3 months. It made me feel better when they said they to like the rain but there needs to be stability. I`m glad I`m not the only one that thinks that.

This weekewnd Im planting my veggies whether Mother Nature is with me or not.My peas are doing good.Carrots and beets are growing ever so slowly. Most of my fruit trees have or are blossoming but my black plum tree is wasted for this year. The blossoms froze and died.Even my rhubarb died in this cold spring. The weather wreaks havoc on the gardening and fishing.Of course its my two favorite hobbies. I joined a gym instead. Time to get buffer for summer.I hope my speedos from high school still fit so I can wear them to the Picnic. Hahaha.

Spokane just passed another record. It is the latest date where we have yet to reach 80º
Overall, the coldest, wettest spring on the record books.

We are about 20 days behind here.
Some of the farmers just finished planting beans.
Corn is 12 inches in some fields and just breaking ground in others.
Some of the hay looks good but I have seen a lot of black hay this year.
It was real nice yesterday and we have rain today.
Hit the seep lakes area yesterday, heading out to Frenchmans today.

Here are some stats from the National Weather Service....

There are a few stats that helps to put the Spring of 2011
in context….
It  was  the  wettest  MarchMay  ever  in  Lewiston  and
Pullman, and the 4th wettest ever in Spokane.
Lewiston  and  Wenatchee  both  had  their  latest  ever
“first 70 degree day”.
Spokane  had  its  latest  ever  “first  60  degree  day”  and
may set its latest “first 80 degree day”.

Washington had its 3rd coldest March-May ever out of 117 years of records.

So, what is it doing right now? 59º and raining....#-o
