I've had neighbors complain to me about their dogs rolling in my freshly laid down manure. They have the nerve to actually get mad at me. I tell them to put your dog on a leash and it wont happen. I remind them of the leash laws in the city. Then they get mad and go home. LOL...
Sounds like something a person might due on purpose. To torment those allowing there dogs to roam. It is okay for the leash less dog to enter your property to defaecate and/or urinate on whatever they deem thirsty. But come home wearing the smell of doo doo. That which, was freshly deposited on your lawn..................how dare you!

As a responsible dog owner. I find this too funny Rac. Absolutely genius! I could understand if the complaining neighbor was down wind when the potent odor was detected.

But the dog owner should tuck tail and deal with the "real" issue.

There is no way you have dealt with the smelly dog for this long Nate. What have you tried, and what worked best to stifle or eliminate the obnoxious odor, en-fused on your pet?
I bathed her with my wifes froofy shampoo three times a day for three days to get it out. Didn't get the chance to try any of these yet, but I'm sure she's going to get into it again, and I'll give it a go! The vet was no help, she said to use lavender scented shampoo ](*,) I don't think she realizes that this dog gets STINKY!

Go to Costco and get the huge 48oz cans (come in a 2pk) of Campbells tomato juice. Throw your girls in the shower and dowse her down with it. Make sure if she has a heavy coat to get it all the way through her undercoat to the skin. Leave it on as long as possible. I always use 'Mane n Tail' horse shampoo on my outside dogs and it works great. Let her dry out and do it again if necessary. Shouldn't take more than twice to get her squeaky clean.

Tomato juice is the way to go. Growing up we took many baths in the stuff, southern Oregon is loaded with Skunks and as kids we loved to harass the things, a game of lets see who gets sprayed first, not moms favorite game of ours. Tomato juice was the only thing that worked. Coke a cola works to get the oily stank out of clothes as well, tho I wouldnt recommend dousing your pup in coke.

Yeach! [razz] Try freezing them and dumping the remains in the clean green/yard waste bin the day before pickup. [thumbup]
I've done just that for years. Then, this year I thought "self". Yep, I talk to my inner voice, and answer as if on a Bluetooth device. Sorry, those Bluetooth deals are quiet odd to encounter in public.

Anyway, started burying the many Coho Salmon we caught. In between the rows of prospering veggie rows. 6" to 8" deep. Managed to fit over 20 salmon carcasses in a 15ft round circle. No smell, no raccoons ever dug around looking. Rotto tilled the soil 2 weeks ago. To test out a new tiller purchase. No sign of the fish! It's there, but everything has liquified and been absorbed/biodegraded.

Nate must be puttin mileage on the drifter.

When I was younger we did the same thing with suckers and carp. It really does work great, I even won the county fair with a giant and beautiful sunflower. It makes a big difference, the thing grew to be almost 10 feet high. Yep, putting miles on the drift boat. Wouldn't you? It's so cool. I haven't ceased to be amazed at how responsive the thing is. It's a BIG boat, but it rows like a boat half its size. Ya'll should take a trip with me sometime!
