Mushroom identification??

Uff Duh! I don't advocate that at all..... It's not my "cup of tea!" They shall remain lawn ornaments....

Here's a couple I saw today while walking in a local park. 4 pics, 2 of each specimen.... Pretty cool!

Ouch, those are pretty blurry....... darn phones... LOL

both are gilled under cap, not sponge... The numbers and the color variation is what got my attention... I almost missed the darker one while walking by.... I'll have to bring my glasses next time.

Ive now eaten Matsutakes 3 different ways. They are too earthy for my taste.The Chantrells I can eat plenty. Nice almost fruity flavor.

BTW, in Siberian culture the people that eat this mushroom then share their urine with others who in turn have the effects of the mushroom. Just an interesting little factoid...

candy cap is the other one.... apparently so good they sell for a $100 per pound.... LOL I wouldn't buy it but what ever floats their boat.... these just recently started popping up...

Ahhhh another blessing of the pnw mushrooms. Boy its been a fantastic season right.

Very good Morel season and chantrells. I only took pics of these this season because well why not. Lol. Haven't eaten them in ten years but had a great positive impact on my life. I really found myself so to speak. These things grow everywhere here

P. Cyanescens although these had a great positive affect on me and my life I don't recommended anybody eat them, its also a felony to pick them be advised. Purely educational purpose and its a cool pic.

amanita muscaria the Viking warrior mushroom Vikings would eat aminitas in preperstion for war muscaria is very strong and gives you a feeling of incredible power a fearless feeling. But muscaline is very strong and without heating it strong stomach pain is likely.


I mushroom hunt mostly by myself if anybody wants to join I'm down not for illegal ones though and nobody ask me where these are please. Sadly it looks like this season will be coming to a end. I guess its time to start fishing again ha.

I found a ton of these ultra short morrel type fungi... Might be one of those falsies... I watched them over a couple weeks, not a one of them grew the cone/cap taller. I'd be interested in hunting with someone that knows a bit more than me... Next year maybe... LOL only interested in the boring tasty edible ones....
