I just called about the opening date for the store in Post Falls, ID. They told me "late fall", so I would imagine that it will open about the same time as the Lacey store. Can't wait.

I watched a video somone took in one of their stores and it looks like an adventure. I am going to drive down and see when it opens.

I once went to Springfield Missouri and there is a Bass Masters pro shop near there I think it was in Branson. It was great. That is what this Cabels's looks like from the video.

Sorry Panfisher My cousin is the stock manager in charge of making sure that the new stores get thier stock. I talked to her about this last July, she said as far as she knew there was no plans for a Yakima store.

I grew up in Kansas City and used to make a trip to Springfield, Mo. at least once a year to get outfitted for a summer of fishing. I really miss going to that particular Bass Pro Shop. I hope the new Cabela's in Lacy is similar to it. I've been to some of the smaller Bass Pro and Cabela's stores and although they are unlike no other outdoor stores, they paled in comparison. Either way, I plan on making a trip down there opening weekend or shortly thereafter.

I can't wait for the Lacy store to open. My sister-in-law lives right down the street, so next time my wife asks me if I want to go to her sisters, instead of me always saying, "Do we have to" my answer is always going to be "yes, but only if we get to stop at Cabelas." LOL...

I know what you mean. I went to the Chicago Bass Pro (actually in Gurnee) and it was no bigger than a Walmart, but the stores in Oklahoma City and Dania Beach (Ft. Lauderdale) are really nice. Of course the Springfield store will always be the best. I especially like their outlet store there. My Great-Uncle used to live in Springfield. I wish they would put in a couple BPS stores here in the Northwest, they tend to have a better selection of gear that I use. They are looking to build a pair near Sacramento in the near future, so I guess we will visit my brother-in-law more often.

Where in KC are you from? I used to live in Turner and went to Jr. High there before moving out to OR. My family is a pioneer Kansas family from Junction City/Manhatten area.
