I love Willie! He's been around for a long time, that's for sure.

Oh that's nothing! You should see a pic from his Radio DJ days before he started performing! Crew cut, horn rims and a cardigan, what a change from today!
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

You bet! He's older than he looks. Well ok as old as he looks, he's been in the music biz for a long, long time.

Yes, but that's because I'm a fan and knew what he looked like back then. But he has the same eyes, even now, and once he starts singing you know it's him.

I like looking at the audience, I remember remember my dads jeans, t-shirt, greased back hair & black rimmed glasses and my mom's horned glasses..
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

When the camera panned out into the crown. I too, was mesmerized by what people were wearing. I was thinking, what era is this? Was it the 60's?

Mom and dad both came out here for the worlds fair in 62 and met here. So late 50's early 60's I am guessing. My mom rented a beach cabin on Alki, my dad's buddy lived next door. Think of it... A beach cabin.... on Alki...
