Clueless.
Hi all, just registered. Dont know if this is cool or not, but here goes. I'm 60 yrs old and find myself very bored. I haven't been able to work because of a injury. I fished when i was young, but haven't thrown a line in the water in 40 yrs. My wife and I took a road trip to Ocean Shores a few days ago from Ferndale, where we live. I borrowed a rod and reel from my wife's family with the thought that i might take up the sport again. IM HOOKED.!!! Problem is I don't have extra money to spend on gear. I'm wondering if someone out there, for whatever reason is not using some gear sitting in there garage, that they don't want or they cant use. I would love to hear from you and maybe we could work something out. If im out of line for asking, let me know and i will search for other answers.

Welcome to the addiction. I don't think you're out of line for asking. Sometimes people can be quite generous. You might be a little more specific in terms of what you hope to fish for though (ie trout, bass, salmon, saltwater, freshwater, etc.). Good luck!
