WHATCHED the news last night and heard ammo prices are soring cuz of the explosion of gun sales and some stores cant even restock there sheves because supplies are low. better stock up asap who knows where this will go.

Might need too,Mason County wants to cutdown several deputie(s) positions.
I already felt a little nervous when I'd leave my wife and son at the lake property while I
ran into town. Its a great area but recently their has been a few cabin break-ins and the Mason
County Sheriffs Office was getting the upperhand in taking down methlabs. Don't think they will
do nearly as well with cuts. Seems the same situation is happening in Thurston and Snohomish counties....sad really.

yup your right . 2 yrs ago there where only 2 officers per 300 sq miles .i wonder what its like now. 1 call can hold up 2 officers for hours depending what it is. i had tools stolen off a job site costing over 20,000. while waiting for them to respond they got held up on a call. it rained while i was waiting and they couldnt pull any finger prints .finally caught em on a hunting camera. i feel sorry for anyone who has a real emergecy going on .

Finding the correct handgun ammunition is proving difficult in alot of places. Even gun shows have stocking trouble. Prices are insane on some items. "Assualt weapons" are taking a serious hit aswell. I know people that have been waiting 8 months for SBR permits because of an influx of people wanting them.

Looks like this "Obama Mania" is proving a almost to lucrative buisness for the firearms industry.

Seriously? Its been dead for MONTHS in a house committee. It doesn't exist.

If I owned a gun store, would I try to foster the manic purchase of weapons? If profit was the motive, hell yes. Its the perfect way to get your product to move.

As soon as one person can show me a single shred of legislation originating from the White House on this, Ill back down. Until then, this is all conjecture and marketing...

I can vouch for the fact the ammo sales are ridiculous right now including reloading equipment and supplies. I don't know why it is, could be general panic based on the belief that the new administration is going support gun and ammo restrictions. The price hikes are being seen at the guns shows and local dealerships. Mail order ammo prices and availability are still normal but requires an FFL or some other form of identification and that seems to weird out most folks. Give it a year and everything will get back to normal, unless of course a bill like HR 45 does actually get supported. If that ever occurs, I can only imagine that the insanity we are witnessing now will be minor in comparison.

My sinister and conspiracy theory side leads me to believe that it is all part of the grand plan to help jump start the economy. Instill a bit of fear concerning a product's future availability and you'll have people that rush out to stockpile it at home.
