I'm Back in the States, Thank God!

Post by felts_jf » Sun Sep 09, 2007 10:17 am

I am finally back after a 5 day plane ride around the world, A night in Baltimore, then a night in Hawaii, and finally made it to the great Northwest where it is time to fish. Two things with a Military flight, you never know when you are going to get home, but you know if you stop it is going to be nice. Just walked in the door and this is the first thing I've done. Just want to think everyone for the support while being in the big sand box.

Great to hear you are back unscathed, now get out there and fish as much as possible before you get shipped off again. Good luck, and haul in a huge one.

Glad you're home safe, sounds like quite an interesting ride home. I would like to add to the Thank You's too for what you are doing from a vet's wife,me and also from Bill, my vet. Spend some well earned time with your wife and then go fishing. Maybe you can even talk her into going with you. Take your time figuring out what kind of boat you want to get. Check out Craig's list for one. There is always alot of new ones on it every day.

Jason, glad to see you made it back. Thanks for all you have done!!! Don't know what kind of schedule you have, but if you are interested in going out sometime during the week it would be my absolute pleasure to take you out for a day of fishing. I also live in Pierce County, we could head to a local lake or head out to Lake Washington or Samammish. Let me know if you are interested.
When you think you know it all, its time to quit. Knowledge should be gained on every trip.

Glad you are back unscathed.
What I would like to know is where is the first place you went or will go fishing?:fish:
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Lets see since I've been back I went up north to a town called Coho and we went Salmon fishing in the ocean. we caught 4 the smallest was 10 lbs. and the biggest was 19 lbs. Yesterday I went to Kapowsin Lake and caught a bunch of small bass and the biggest I caught was 2.5 lbs. Plan on going back there again, time I ever fished that lake, looks like a good bass lake. Never have done any trout fishing but have been reading up on it, so looking forward to trying to get on some of those.
