Hwy 2 to Lake Wenatchee from west side?

My wife and I were planning to go over to Lake Wenatchee on Sunday but I see DOT still shows Hwy 2 as closed. Has anyone managed to get over there from the west side? Will we have to come up 97 and travel Hwy 2 from the east to get to the lake?

I heard that the corner store where you turn to go to the lakes fish and wenatchee was open there but closed just past that. I have a co worker that had a cabin over near there and will ask tomorrow and let you know for sure but Im sure thats what he was telling me from last weekend.

I got more info. The road is closed at Coles corner but it is open right there to turn Left and head up to Lake Wenatchee and or Fish Lake. So you can Take Hwy 2 and head East to get to the lake.

What Idstud said. I went up there from Wenatchee this morning, had to take Chumstick hwy as it is the detour around to Coles corner. beautiful morning, get there early, more boats that i have ever seen out there today
