Long Lake <<-->> Connected to Beaver Lk.
Has anyone fished Long Lake that is connected by a little stream to the well known Beaver Lake? I know late in the year it develops lily-pads all over the whole lake, but what about right now? Is it private? I know you can gain access to it from the park side of Beaver Lake.

The larger of the two smaller lakes has no name. The other is "Long Lake"

wow 8am that is somewhat early waht u think i have a fishfinder that clamps on if u want me too bring it u want me too bring my gear
RE:Long Lake <<-->> Connected to Beaver Lk.
I have fished it and it was awesome. There were many locals that saw me and didn't care that I was fishing it. The bass fishing is phenomenal. And there seems to be less perch in this portion of the waters. Trolling was great on trout.
So I don't think it is private.

Hey Rabbits! Are you talking about Long Lake or the other lake connected to Beaver at the far end by that big rock? I'm talking about Long Lake labeled "Long Lake" thru Google Maps, which I think you are referring to as well...just want to make sure we're on the same page/have the same lake in mind. You see it on Google Maps? "Long Lake"? You have trolled it for trout and it was good? I'm banking on it being good.Rabbits wrote:I have fished it and it was awesome. 9am meeting on the Park Side of the Lake...not the launch side...and we can hand carry the raft to access Long Lake and then the other little lake back by that big "Rock." We can fish both those two smaller lakes connected to Beaver (they get far less pressure and I'm sure the fish have gravitated to that those lakes.fishingmachine wrote:yeah we should definatly go back there kutthroat

I believe Rabbits knows his stuff and was thinking of Long Lake the one on google maps labeled "Long Lake" -- the closer one to the launch. Let's do this fishingmachine: let's troll for trout with flatfish and worms/wedding ring at this lake (Long Lake) and then if it doesn't produce we can move our raft (hand carry it) down into the main Beaver Lake and then from there motor down to the third lake (by the rock connected to Beaver) and fish that lake. We'll just experiment on which lake is fishing good at the moment. I'm pretty sure Sam has some working knowledge of these two lakes...who knows.fishingmachine wrote:wait which one is long the one farthest from the launch or the other one it would be easier going off of the launch kutthroat

Sam, you beat me to it...lol...so the one labeled "Long Lake" has good fishing? The other lake up by that "Big Rock" has no name, as I can see, but I bet they both have fish in them...have you fished "Long Lake" for trout in the past?Sam Kafelafish wrote:yep the bigger of the two small lakes definitely has good fishing in it...

The larger of the two smaller lakes has no name. I'm guess the larger of the lakes is better to fish as Sam said. Sam have you fished Long Lake that is connected to Beaver Lake? I think we could bush wack our way thru to that larger lake back by the "big Rock" and gain access to this lake this way. It is probably very shallow like 8" deep, but with an inflatible raft it might be doable...we'll see. I bet they get very little pressure because no one actually goes back there and fishes them...other than those on the lake, and the fish can get back there thru that waterway that links the main Beaver Lake to the littler lake.

I was talking about the one near the big rock. I've done good there. It's a much bigger and deeper lake. It would also have colder water. If I remember right it was surrounded by hills and trees moreso then the other little small one that is really shallow and is right near the park.kutthroatkilla wrote:Sam, you beat me to it...lol...so the one labeled "Long Lake" has good fishing?
