my dad already does this. He has several way points of areas we havnt even fished yet at neah bay, but they just look like a good place because of sudden humps coming up from 600 to 400, or 400 to 200 so he marks them.

He also authored the book "How To Catch Trophy Halibut" -- highly recommended if you're a serious halibut fisherman/woman like myself...Terry is the man!
