Cow Lake

Post by eustace » Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:19 pm

Is there any eastsiders that fish Cow Lake. I was wondering if the Sprague Lake retenone could have traveled down into to Cow. It is not that far down stream from it and see that Tiger trout have been planted in there. Also I injoy the wide variety of fish in there, like the Channel Cats, Bass and the tasty Blue Gill even the ocaisonal grass pickerel.

The WDFW killed Cow off last year.
I would like to know were you heard that they stocked Tiger Trout in Cow.
I still have not heard when they plan to restock Sprague, so if you have any news I would appreciate hearing from you.

Hey Yellowbear, they started stocking sprague 2 weeks ago. Only trout so far, or that I know of. I saw it on the weekly trout stocking report, so they wouldnt mention the crappie, bass, bluegill etc. in that report. Nothing too big, but they did plant quite a few if I remember correctly.

Yellowbear, I came across some online weekly fish plants for the WDFW. Not the site that says what thay going to plant but what they already. The only thing I remember seeing being planted in Cow was Tiger trout. I think the site was a WDFW site, I will look agian. But that is what got my interest in finding out about the kill off.
