best set up for snoqialmie river trout/cutts

I'm new to trout fishing. I have been hitting the snoqualmie lately at tokul creek. Any suggestions on what gear or techniques to catch more fish? I've been using spinners with OK success. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for looking. Also youre not allowed to use live bait correct? Is it worth trying g power bait or power worms?

I can't speak for trout/cutts on the Snoq., but have some experience with the Steelhead, which utilizes the same gear/tactics as the other river systems. However, the current rules on no bait include no powerbait, glup baits, scents, or scented lures of any kind.

As stated above, there is a selective gear rule in effect on the Snoq until the end of November.

So, leave the bait, scents, and treble hooks at home until December 1. Pinch your barb also.

Post a report if you go. Would be interested to know what type of and number of salmon are showing up around fall city this time of year.

I was up that way Tuesday for work and stopped by to see if there were any fish. I saw no one fishing and no fish jumping or rolling

Small spoons and little spinners. You could even do a little jig and bobber deal if you want. I've had very good luck with 1/32 jig with a little root beer skirt or green or black marabou.

Thank you for the input. Panther martin spinners seem to work well. I replaced all the treble hooks with single #10 hooks and bent the barbs. Makes it a little more tricky to land the fish.

i like size 0 mepps and panther martins and daredevil spoons. they do well in the satsop and don't see why not up there.
