ande is like what? higher strength than rated for? i swear it is because, ande is some tough stuff in my mind, but i really havent tried tough lines like trilene xt or p-line cxx etc

no ande is like seaguar, if it is 10lb than it has a 10lb diameter.

I actually use Seaguar Grandmax fluorocarbon fly tippet. Their '10lb mono' diameter is actually 16.5lb test. So you can either use the same diameter and get a much stronger leader, or downsize and get 10lb strength for about a 6lb test diameter. It is expensive though (about $15 for 25yds).

hatkat, if you want to try some tougher lines go with izor line or big game, rod guides break before the line does.

hmm i was looking for a new mono main line, for river drifting does it matter if my mainline is high-viz of low-viz?

yeah ODH I have heard some good things about power pro but wow braid is expensive, it is nice when float fishing but not a necessity for me though.
