I used to fish langus everyday for silvers after work... Heres a tip... Just above I-5 on the right hand side about 400 yards there is a deep slot that you can see on the fish finder ... Go up till it starts getting shallow and kill the motor.... Drop dick nites and cannon balls to bottom and just drift with the current down stream .... Keep them on the bottom and hang on, wether will rip your arms off when they hit.... Good luck

If you know where to look though there will be schools.

50/50 wee and medium dick nites, froggy/nickel. same sizes.. feather type jigs, reds and purples.. thats the short answer :) i'm no pro but those are effective for me..

read up.. you have to fish these right to be effective

yep.. Jim Stahl one of the guides in those vids tought me a few years ago.. ;)

we fished with him last season too (video) ;).. the very 1st Coho was on plugs on the lower river.. all the rest were caught using dick nites.. tons of humpies to ween through to get a few choice coho..

Hey oneshot.... It's not losing gear, it's making a donation to the fish gods.... I used to tell new river anglers to fill a fishing vest full of tackle , and the first time on the water, remove half of it and throw it in the water... No need to even tie it on your line.... Just throw it in, make your donation and after that you'll catch fish....
