How deep is the snow? Won't know until tomorrow when it starts to snow, and Sat when it quits snowing, or Sun or Mon when it quits snowing.

Me and a buddy were there this past weekend, fished the mouth, hatchery and so on. No fish and it was ankle deep all the way across. Wait till the water shoots back up cause Wallace ain't fishing at all right now.

However if ya wanna see smolt kings hit the hatchery ponds. Pretty cool to see em be fed and think ill be catching em in a couple years.

It's crazy shot up to 10ft and now back down to 7ft in 2 days. I was hoping it would hold for awhile....

I was hoping to hit it tomorrow, but I like to fish the Wallace when the sky is 6 to 8 thousand, too low already but that high water may have pushed some fish up

Where do you park to fish the Wallace? Looking on Google maps all Isee is houses and the hatchery along it

I fished under the bridge and the Sherman hole, you park by the railroad tracks then walk down them and get under the bridge, then the Sherman hole there is a house across the street and you walk throw their yard to get there, and yes you are aloud to walk through!

I haven't fished there for years, but I heard they didn't want anyone walking in their backyard anymore? I guess if you don't see any "No Tresspassing" Signs.

Sherman Hole was my favorite hole in that river.

Or do that too but IMO the hatchery holes suck except the may creek hole and the cedar hole for early coho
