http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/ahps_war ... Type=Flood" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Watch

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY
AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF WESTERN WASHINGTON...INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES...SNOHOMISH...KING...PIERCE...THURSTON...LEWIS
AND...MASON.

* FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON

* MOISTURE STREAMING EAST ACROSS THE PACIFIC AHEAD OF A STRONG
FRONT MOVING INTO THE AREA WILL GIVE AROUND 3 INCHES OF RAIN TO
THE OLYMPICS AND NORTH CASCADES...AND 4 TO 8 INCHES OF RAIN TO
THE CENTRAL CASCADES LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
THE HEAVY RAINFALL WILL PRODUCE SHARP RISES ON AREA RIVERS
SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT...ESPECIALLY RIVERS FLOWING OFF THE CENTRAL
CASCADES. MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ON SOME RIVERS
IN THE WATCH AREA.

4-8 inches of rain. Yeah I'd say there's some drastic rise in the rivers coming. Lets hope the rivers go back down quick. With the forcast for rain all next week, it doesn't seem likely though.

Yeah, but when it does come down, it's on!
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

This is the monsoon that will bring steelhead. Water temperatures dropping, flows up, on the rise they'll be moving up, when it drops all your favorite holes will be full of fish! There are already steelhead on the coast showing up, this will get the numbers past the nets! Something to be Thankful for! The dots have been all red on the maps lately, I like my water like I like my ladies! High and dirty! Hehehe.

It's been updated slightly, they changed it to 4-6 inches of rain for the central Cascades. So not as much of a blowout, but still some highwater to bring on the fish!
