New Year, New Direction!

Post by Steelheadin360 » Sun Jan 04, 2015 9:48 pm

Northwest Sport Fishing was founded on the principle of exposing people to the joy that a great day of fishing can bring!

I am now in my second full year of Business and I am changing a few things around. This year I will primarily be focusing on my Kokanee fishing as that is something I enjoy the most! Even when I am out chasing bigger fish I am thinking about trolling around my favorite lake in pursuit of these hard fighting fish. After last year I found that I was getting call for more Kokanee trips then anything else, but had to turn down some people due to being on the Coast and what not. Not this year! Full time Kokanee slaying. I will still be doing my guided river trips when the pinks show up and during Coho season, because that's to much fun to pass up!

Last fall I obtained my United State Coast Guard OUPV (Operator of a Un-inspected Passenger Vessel). This opened up a whole new can of worms for me as I can now guide pretty much anywhere in freshwater! We will now be fishing out a fully outfitted 20' Customweld Jet Boat, it has everything we need to have a great day on the water. Decked out with Electric Scotty Downriggers, Sonar/gps, and Autopilot for the kicker motor. It also has a fully enclosed top to keep you cool in the summer and a heater for those chilly days! This thing is wicked fast and helps get us to those great fishing spots in comfort. It is also extremely safe for fishing some of the larger water and the hazards that come along with it.

Lake Stevens and American Lake will be my primary targets for West side Kokanee. I grew up fishing these lakes and have perfected my presentations for both. Limits of fat, tasty, good eating Kokanee are the norm!

In March through June I will be spending some time on the east side of the Mountians for my clients that wish to fish some bigger water. Kokanee over there can grow in excess of 20 inches and weigh over 3 pounds. That is a HUGE Kokanee. I will also be fishing for some very robust Rainbow trout, as well as the very abundant and sometimes very large Lake Trout.

As always, Washington Lakes member's get a discount. Premium member's will receive $35 off per person and regular member's will receive $20 off. I am also doing a referral program this year. Every time you get one of your buddies out fishing with me I will take 25% off your next trip you book with me. This discounts will stack up also. If you refer me 4 different client trips, then you will get a FREE single person trip with me. Pretty awesome huh?

2015 is going to be a very exciting year and I look forward to fishing with you! [thumbsup]

Nice, thanks Zack, and thanks for the great discount to our members. Folks, Zack is a lot of fun to fish with and very knowledgeable on the kokanee. Check out last year's video with him on his DB:
