I heard this weather report on the radio yesterday:

Sunday 01/04/09, 20% chance of snow. Sunday night freezing rain and freezing fog turning to rain. Monday thru Friday...Rain and cloudy with temps high 30's to low 40's.

So much for the weatherpeople...

Caught me off guard this morning but the Corolla didnt have any issues. I kinda like the snow, as long and its not causing any problems....

We went to look at a house a few days ago and the carport awning had colapsed due to snow since the add was posted. Lots of damage. Hope they lower the price... :money:

Waders? With that much snow melt won't you need a boat?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

In certain areas of town, yes. That will be the next shortage.......boats. Right now you can't find anything in town related to snow- shovels, de-icer, blowers, chains, roof heat cables and any roofing contractors to remove snow or repair roofs. What a mess..........

Congratulations Spokane!!! You made the front page of Yahoo's web site.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090107/ap_ ... snow_blues

West side river fishing will not be in my immediate future. It's been raining and in the 50's. If it doesn't cool down in the mountains quickly, we may see another 100 year flood on many systems.

Yahoo!! We would rather not make the front page.#-o Hope you guys don't get that record flood. Not going to cool down until this weekend. Not good for everyone.

47 degrees @ 4:00 A.M. this morning here in Liberty Lake. It's going to be another really sloppy day.

So far, we have been very lucky in the Spokane area. No rain in the last couple of days and the snow is melting at a moderate rate. We have lost about 12" of undisturbed snow in the last 2 days. Much better than what the forecast had predicted.
