$1.40 a gallon.Same place as yesterday in the Spokane Valley.

This reminds me of 1974. How long will it last?

It went up today here in NW WA (first time in weeks). Was 1.59, jumped to 1.63. Might be a trend......

You could be right. The Carpetbaggers are ready to reap a profit from Christmas travel.

Maybe, maybe not. Prices didn't increase over Thanksgiving. OPEC says they are cutting production. That usually causes the price to increase.

I paid 1.62 per gallon in Mount Vernon a few weeks back. That's the best I have seen in my neck of the woods. It's still 10 times better now than it was not very long ago.

Yep ... the prices are creeping their way back up. Where I was a month ago paying $1.49 it is now at $1.89. Still a far cry form $4.00+ though. Just hoping it stays in the area it is now.

I was on my way home from work today and on one corner it was 1.99 and the other was 1.59. That that was a little strange but it sounds like all of them have been creaping back up. Just a matter of time I guess.

For whatever it is worth, I bought gas in Coeur D' Alene Idaho on Tuesday for $1.35/gal. I have seen prices all over the place in Spokane, so I think there is some attempt to get the price back up, at least in WA.
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

Anybody feeling the yoyo? I thought for sure my local stations were gonna go over $3.00 a couple weeks ago. Im amazed by the price difference in station close to my house. At Arco I could get regular for 27 cents a gallon cheaper than a couple mile up the road.
