HELP ME Find RF10 Transducer / *FOUND*

Post by fishnislife » Sat Feb 07, 2009 4:45 pm

Hey guys, I own an RF10 Hummingbird that I use for my float tube. Last year I casted the transducer out and it slapped the water to hard and I broke it. I would really like to replace it but so far what I have found is expensive for this little green thing.

Model RF40A and RF45 Advance Remote Sonar Sensor or both compatible with my RF10

My question is, does anyone have one laying around not in use that they could part with? Or know of a place I can get one. My sporting goods store doesn't sell that individual part.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to get it back up and running before I'm on the water every week this year. This thing has been a tremendous help in locating structure and helping me dissect a lake bottom from my tube.

Thanks Nik. I have found those and actually seen one for $18, but the problem is shipping can be anywhere from $8 to $15. So it ends up being about $30+ for it.
My hope is that someone has one sitting around not in use or has one that there console or watch doesn't work anymore and they could part with the sensor. I would be willing to pay a small price and have it mailed. Let me know.
I thought I'd at least post this and try, before I spent the big bucks.
