River temps

Post by noclothes1 » Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:31 pm

With this cold weather we had this week I would guess the river temps are down as well. Is anybody going out this weekend or are you waiting for it to warm up a titch?

Unless I'm fishing for Salmon in a river, the water temps don't influence my fishing decision. Trout/Steelhead seem to hit lures and bait without regard to how cold the water may be. I can remember the Green River having ice flows and folks still caught fish, you just had to be good at hitting the open water! So if you have the itch, get out and fish!

Alright, well you go and let me know how you do. I plan on going down there Sunday. Hopefully I don't get rained out.
