Brand New in unopened box, Minn Kota Endura 50lb thrust motor. $180. Cheapest I have found them in Spokane is $210 @ White Elephant.

Your price is solid and a good deal. I was curious so I checked Amazon.com and they were 198.00 before tax and shipping. Bass Pro Shop had them for 229.00 to 234.00 depending on shaft length, Cabala's wants 239.00, and Walmart wants 198.00 for the 42" shaft. I also have the same exact motor and it's great. I've had it for 10 years and it still runs like it's new, and it has enough thrust to push my 12' Smoker Craft quickly and is slow enough to troll a fly. Great motors.

I have a 16 foot Reinell open bow..and after the tide fun this weekend ...you think something like that would have held us in one spot instead of having to run up and start the drift again? I would love a small kicker but funds say thats a bit off still.

Maybe. This is transon mount. I used this on a 16.5 open bow Bayliner tri hull. It did fine going into the wind except you have to keep ontop of things. The wind kept blowing the bow off course and the motor quickly pushed us whatever direction the boat was pointing. Bow mount would have done better for this. But, it did move us along quite nicely.
You said Tide? Id get a unit designed for Salt. This one was fresh water.
