Weather sucks!

Post by The Quadfather » Fri Oct 30, 2009 5:25 pm

I/m just whining here... but this weather absolutley sucks! If you fish from the beach your cast is blown back. If you want to troll, it's like riding a rollercoster! Whaaaaa!!! Rivers must be blown out , or near there. What's a fella to do?

Time to huddle up to a warm fire and a cold beer.

Allthough the rivers are too high and muddy ,this really helps their survival rates.I watch the rivers rise and I think of all those salmon that can make it up their spawning streams.Too much rain ruins fishing for the fisherpeople but the benefits I think are good in a long run. Good time for home projects.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Feel your pain Quad...but it's great time to maintain your gear (wash and sort) or tie some leaders or hootchies and lures for the lake. Think I'll go to Sportco!

I went to Auburn Sport and Marine yesterday, got Senkos and rod tips, but forgot to get what was the real reason I wanted to go there. Now I have to make another 1 hour trip.

I guess I don't need to worry about the weather for a month or so. #-o
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!
