I dunno, did I already tell you all? I got hired on as a part-time respiratory therapist for
Sound Oxygen Service. It is a home oxygen company based in Washington and I work out of the Spokane office. I am the sole RT too, and only part-time till business picks up, probably go to FT arond may/june. I started on Feb 15th and am so far really liking it. Homecare is so much different than working in a hospital and my boss is really cool. Being part-time the wage is a little less than what I was bringing in on unemployment, but they let me set my own hours which works for not having to put my kids in daycare. although with my milleage reimbursement I actually bring in more than on unemployment, but I am going to start putting that reimbursement into a savings account for a "vehicle maintence fund". Im averaging 160 miles per week (last week I had 203) at $0.30/mile....since IRS allows up to $0.55/mile I can write off the difference on my income taxes.
My memory issues are still there, I write a lot of notes and drive around with a notepad on the passenger sheet. I've gotten pretty good at writing notes on it without looking (so I can keep my eyes on the road lol). And yes, I have a bluetooth headset

I also try to put every appointment in the calendar on my phone too. Have a meeting with a neurologist on the 13th.
You might remember me talking about going back to college....well I still plan on it, but as long as this job continues to work out, I will be going to EWU for a bachelors in interdisciplinary studies....what that means is I can transfer all of my credits from SCC, including the ones in the respiratory care program, and apply them toward a bachelors...its also known as an upside-down degree. i would go, complete my general education requirements, and a few more upper level credits to make the required # of credits, and get a bachelors.
