T minus, 1 week and counting

Although in all fairness I'm not near as over worked as summers passed, I still can't wait. Next week is the annual Omak/Conconully trip for us. Stampede, cabins, and 5-6 days of basically nothing to think about but fishing. :-"

heading over to conconully this weekend myself. not into the stampede thing tho. that is a great place for a family vacation. we'll be staying in a cabin on the upper lake and will do most of our fishing there i think. my girlfriend and her 5yo are stoked:bounce: . he's never caught a fish, so i'm stoked as well to be able to break him in to the sport...after a little practice, i'll take him on a trip to rufus woods and lake roosevelt in my boat. :nemo: :nemo: :nemo:
fishing may not be life, but it's a great alternative

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I think, to the best of my knowledge, this is my first 'multi' day trip off since Christmas (unless you count tradeshows.. gruelling 12-14hr days on your feet...yuck).

2 more working days till i'm gone!
