Damn Big D,do we need to rescue you?
No snow here...just rain. I'm currently "on call" for any flooding issues on the rivers. I'm a member
of the swift water rescue team, when were not pulling people from the water,we are surveying the water levels.
Last report came in about 20 minutes ago, looks like the morning and afternoon have some serious issues and we
are expecting moderate to severe flooding on most western washington rivers. As for now,I'm home hanging out with the
family.

Finally a snow we can measure. LOL. Hey BigD, Waterville always gets a good snow when a system goes through. Looks like there is some serious digging out at your place too. I spent lots of last evening digging folks out of the snow bank here close to the house, and this morn I cranked up the ole snow thrower, and cleaning the drive off. I'm going to have to dig out the bird feeding station also as there is only a small area clear at this time. There will be some hungry critters with this much snow. Everyone be safe out there, and if your out shoveling or other outdoor activities, DRINK plenty of fluids.
Probably will be a busy day at the hospital today, Cindy has to work, and says there are lots of "chest Pain" comes in the ER from people overdoing it on the shovel handle.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

16 inches of snow here at Chelan. It's 36 degrees (11:06), partly sunny, and snow starting to melt off the roofs.

I'll take torrential downpour over butt-sticking-to-couch heat ANY day of the week. :safe:
