Glad To be Back......Sportsman's Mag.....and Prizes?

Post by fishnislife » Sun Apr 08, 2012 3:30 pm

Just wanted to say WHAT UP! to all the WL.com's. Missed you guys and.........I"M Baaaack!!
I went to write a blog and update all the fans on what's been going on in my world, but it appears I am a basic member now and lost my premium membership. Oh the life of a peasant.
I'm glad to get plugged back in and have been itching for fishing. After only getting out 3 times last year because of my new career and school, I am now back in action full force and look forward to seeing you guys out on the water.
I really felt bad about missing the picnic this last time and was envious of those that went. Thanks to those guys for picking up the slack (if any) that I may have left.
It's going to take me a little bit to get caught back up on what's been going on around here. I already see some great fisherman have shown up on the forum and some new faces with amazing info and techniques. Gotta love WL.com.
What up to all my long lost fishing buddies. I did not miss any of you guys..at all......you know who you are.

Also, I just wanted to throw out there that the April Northwest Sportsman mag is plum full of trout info from around the state. A little Uncle Wes action and info on Glacial cutting and how they formed our lakes. And of coarse, good ole Buzz Ramsey breaks down tides and springer action.

[omg] And the only reason I bring all this up is because one of our own was captured with his ugly mug in this issue. PG.104 KEVIN B please stand up. Nice pic man. Congrats on the exposure.

I think WL.com should start giving prizes for any member who makes it in local papers or magazines. Bonuses for the mention of WL.com in the article and huge bonus if your pictured with WL.com apparel on. What say you Aaron and Mike?

Hey fishnislife, nice to see you back and posting! Definiately missed ya at the picnic last year. We had a thread that died off from several people interested in organizing a swap meet - I'll go post on it to bring it up. I'm thinking that it would be a fun event to do in combination with a picnic this year.

Check out your status, you've been upgraded back to PM. As to special mention for members that get into mags and what-not and promote WL.com - you bet! We are always open to free media exposure. [cool]

Let me know the details for this event and I'll start planning. What is the round about date and thought of lake?
