Boat Docking/Lunch/Bathroom @ Lake Washington

Post by FishingFool » Mon Jul 16, 2012 8:47 am

I'm looking for locations to dock to use the bathroom or have lunch. I've done it at Coulon, but that's all the way on the south end of the lake. It could take me an hour just to get there depending on where I am on the lake and condition of water.

Anyways, I know of Luther Bank Parks on Mercer Island for bathroom. But where else?

Moss bay/marina park in kirkland has docks you can use for 30minutes at a time i think for free or pay a small fee for longer.. we used to launch at kenmore, go wakeskate'ing, and then head to kirkland for lunch or to poop.. :)

just looking for a place to drop off the kids at the pool? Magnussen park and boat launch, kenmore's Logboom park on the north end.. further south. Seward park maybe? or the launch where the Hydros pits are..

Logboom has a restroom for the Burk Gillman Trail, there are picnic tables there also, but no services (as in places to buy food or drink) near by.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Newport has a long dock that you can moor for bathroom break. No picnic tables, one little bench to sit there.

For lunch spots, like Gringo mentioned would be Logboom and what One Shot mentioned of the Kirkland dock.

Stan Sayers is where the hydros pit and is a public launch with plenty of docks to spare. Leschi is about one third of the way north between the I-90 and 520 bridges and offers dock space and access to restaurants and a small park.

Are we allowed to pick up/drop off passengers at Juanita?

The wife is doing the 3-Day breast cancer walk. Apparently, they are stopping off at Juanita for a lunch break or something. I was thinking of stopping at the park.
