On the sky/sno how is the run currently? There any well known spots that is easy for someone new to this side of the sound to find?

I personally like the Monroe area because of the nice views of wildlife and if you dare to go by it the prison area has good fishing and its public access area(no way by any means part of the prison)
Also the area by the mills has good fishing... or so I'm told
Btw what do you mean chum? What color do the Coho and chum go for?
Regards
