Question on the regs for the Samish

Post by mizm05 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 11:47 am

The regs don't specifically say the word "barbless" for the hooks. Just single point. My buddy still says it's barbless...although the regs for the Puyallup specifically use the word "barbless" when talking about hook requirements.

I have a call in to the local Mill Creek office, but they haven't returned my call yet.

Can someone please verify? Can you use barbed hooks on the Samish?

You are allowed to use barbed hooks. If it states "selective gear rules" then that means no barbs, bait, or scent.

Now I just gotta find the leak in the left leg of my waders before I go up there. Walked out of the Puyallup with a boot full of water this evening.

I found the leak. Right at the seam. Covered it in plasti-dip. As soon as it's dry, I'm good to go!
