A BIG THANKS TO STEELHEADIN 360, AND SOMETHING CATCHY KOKANE
Just want to say thanks for all of your, hard work and long hours that you had to put in for the great time we had at your get to gather this week end. I think what you folks have put together is great, and hope to see you again next year, we had lots of fun and enjoyed it. I will say we were fortunate enough to make back our entry fee, missing out on big fish Kokanee by just 2 oz, although I did win the Sunday side pool bet on biggest rainbow, 2 lb 5 oz. Any way great job, good luck next year

Glad you had fun! Jayson did a great job putting this whole thing today and I think the tougher fishing conditions made for a better derby! I struggled on Saturday but we got into them good yesterday morning. Ill be back there again this weekend

Yes was open to all, great Kokanee tourny at lake Chelan last weekend, slow bite nothing for 4 hours than 4 fish in 45 min, 2 big kokes at 2 lb 2 oz , and some smaller ones total of 8 fish for the 2 days, but our boat was just slow others did a lot better.......I agree that the tough conditions made it harder , but more interesting..........

I couldnt find the fish at all Saturday. Then sunday a buddy without a ticket wanted to go out, so I couldnt weigh any fish in. And boy did we get into them Sunday. Half dozen to the boat and easliy had 20+ fish on. My buddy was having some trouble keeping them on, and a lot of fish would tear it out of the clip and not stay hooked up

what area of the lake did everyone end up finding the koks? I was up there Saturday, and couldn't buy a bite, ended up with a few rainbows on the trip in, nothing spectacular

Saturday I kept hearing Yatch club, Then Sunday almost every boat on that lake was in front of the blue roofs. There was a few schools milling around down there that were very bitey.ncwflounderer wrote:what area of the lake did everyone end up finding the koks? Ya that was us, we looked at the Yatch club, Saturday and saw some fish, on Sunday we ran up there first thing, looked all over but could find nothing , so we ran back down the the blue roof area......just wasted some good fishing time....
