National ranking of lousy drivers

Post by BARCHASER10 » Wed Aug 27, 2014 12:53 pm

Suspicions confirmed! I always thought Seattle drivers are just lousy, heavily skewed to jerks, idiots and clowns. A national survey by Allstate Insurance confirmed it. Out of the 200 largest metro areas with the best drivers rated as number one, Seattle is 173rd. The average Seattle driver gets in a wreck every 7 years vs the national average of 10 years. The average Seattle driver is 37% more likely to get in a wreck than the national average.

But...guess what! I used to live in Portland. Portland is even worse! Portland is ranked 177th, 37.2% more likely to get in a wreck.

A lot of it must be due to density and quality of roads. The Seattle road system is awful and I suspect PDX isn't much better. Boise is ranked as third best, with the average driver in a wreck every 14 years, probably due to a better road system and low density..

Get a lot of car insurance!

As a professional driver, I see firsthand alot of stupid behavior on our highways. From the standard phone play to three foot bong rips and masturbation. Its a wonder more people dont die on our highways.

Spoonman,
Wow, you must drive a lifted 4X4 or something. It reminds me of when I had a big lifted chevy truck. I saw some pretty incredible stuff, including the ones you mentioned. Some of it was pretty entertaining.

I wasn't suspicious, I knew they were the worst, or close. Every time I go to either one I have to discipline my mind with soothing thoughts, like there might be a plague or a nuke incoming.... Ahh.... much better...
