DanielTBaits
I just wanted everyone to know, I ordered some DanielTBaits recently, and let me take a second to give them a ringing endorsement. I cannot stress enough how professional these baits look. They are individually packaged and you can tell care was taken to make them appear as professional as possible. As far as the baits themselves are concerned, they are higher in quality than most store brand baits I have purchased, and I have no doubts that they are going to work better too. He has some very unique colors available as well. These baits belong in a tackle store somewhere.
Thanks again Daniel, and hopefully you'll be kind enough to let me buy more baits from you in the future.

I have to agree. Daniel runs a first class operation and I would recommend his products to anyone. (As well as his bass fishing insights and know-how.)

All I hear is positive word about his baits...

RE:DanielTBaits
Nik, thanks for the post glad you were happy.
Nik and I went back and forth about some jigs he was looking for and after working out the details we came up with a good fit. Ive done other jig orders here and there but after his order and numerous other people asking I started a jig section on my site. So if you havent seen the jigs yet check them out.
As for the site I finally bought the domain danieltbaits.com and will be building a new site that wont be geocities based anymore (thank goodness). Paypal is a new payment option and much more will be changing. Over the past 4 months Ive changed a few things about the package, hardware and colors but still have the same basic idea... chatterbaits and jigs.
I dont have plans on starting up with the soft plastics again because they are kind of a pain in the butt. The time, money and consistency are something I just couldn't get right. I still pour a lot of baits for myself because it doesn't matter what they look like in the end and they still work. Ive got some things in the works with a couple other guys so I will be promoting their sites and giving more info on tubes and plastics later down the road.
I try to make it easy to pick and buy lures but with the new site that will be 100 times easier. I have sold lures to people all over the country so every single order has included multiple emails and some phone calls just to make sure we are on the same page. Its all been based on the honer system and its worked out great for a part time hobby.
LOTS more to come so stay tuned. Thanks again to all purchasers and promoters.

Daniel - Nice upscale packaging. If I can squeak away a few dollars without the wife knowing....you might have another order on your hands. Way to step it up!

RE:DanielTBaits
That's an excellent picture because the jigs Daniel made for me were modeled after the boo jig, but side by side Daniel's jigs are clearly superior both in quality and appearance. Specifically note the addition of eyes, the smaller profile of the head, and the hook shape and angle. You can see that the angle on Daniel's hooks will allow your trailer to sit up off the bottom much better for a more realistic presentation. I also really love the rounded bottom on the head, which means that when you twitch the jig it will rock forward before moving, mimicking a crawdad raising it's claws in defense before moving away. Also, note the angle of the hook point in relation to the weed guard. They're nearly parallel to each other, which is going to maximize the usefulness of the guard. Rather than the hook poking straight through the guard like the boo jig would do, Daniel's jigs allow the guard to be pressed down against the hook, protecting the point and letting weeds slide harmlessly by. I've already tested these jigs in some brush and they pulled through better than pretty much any other jig I've used. Lastly, you can see that the strands on Daniel's skirts are flat and thick, as opposed to the stringy mess on the boo jig. The flat strands have better action, plus they don't tangle up so much.
Basically i will never buy another Boo jig, and probably never buy another jig period other than Daniel's, so long as he keeps making them.
