The Hawks just signed Julius Jones...Great RB, used to play for the Cowboys....Stats looked bad last year cause he was behind Marion Barber last year...

Shaun Alexander might not be the #1 RB anymore...

Ya Buddy!!!!!!
When I heard he was in town I was hoping we would make him a deal.
I am an excited man. I can't wait for next year.
Don't forget the addition of Duckett as well. We are looking better and better. Now we just need to make a buck on Alexander.

Anyone know the details on his contract? Can we buy out his contract or anything? Trade him? We signed him I think for like 8 years after that career year...Means he's here for 6 more I think....

With TJ Duckett back there we got him to be the bruiser RB to bounce of LB's and get a solid gain on a consistent basis. I like the addition of Julius Jones...

The way I see it, we would be a whole lot better off if we spent some money on a really good offensive line. I'm happy to see some new blood in the backfield, but unless they can get some holes opened up for them, none of them will do very well.

Joe aint that the truth. We were on top of our running game when we had someone opening up holes for Alexander.Remember having Hutchison blocking for Shaun. Now he is Minnesota working his majic for Adrian Peterson. But I do love the idea of new blood in the backfeild.

I don't think are current line is that bad. Our runners this last year made them look horrible. There are some solid guys on the line. We will do very well with a decent runner. The addition of these guys might be exactly what we need. That is of coarse, if we don't loose other key guys (like Josh Brown).

fishinislife,
I hope you're right. However, another job of the offensive line is to protect the QB and I saw us drop that ball too many times this year. A caveat to that note is that sometimes the running backs have that job as well. We'll see what we will see. I also hope that Holmgren's apathy this year does affect the the boys in blue/green. Maybe he'll work especially hard so he can finish with a flourish.
Go Hawks,

Hutchinson didn't make the holes by himself. Alexander ran had more yards running to the right side and more td's on the right side if I remember correctly.... Hutchinson was on the left.

Shaun is just dead slow now. He can't outrun many LB's anymore from what I've seen.
