My salmon season has started the Indians have their nets out in Sinclair Inlet here in Bremerton.Time for me to go catch a King or two.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate, but FH News said the Kings are THICK. The editor hooked into Four on Elliot Bay fat Kings Monday evening. It's Official the Kings are in.Check out FH News website. Last Saturday we caught some Silvers off of Meadow Point and one small one from Jeffy. Time to break out the King Rods and Brine some Herring. -- Hope our Hands can stink of Salmon!!--Silver

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Actually it was not the editor, it was Tim Bush from Outdoor Emporium. Go to Salmon University for more Information. This week is a pretty good Reporting period.--Silver

Is that off the dock or out in the sound?

Not thick at all. Area 9 and 10 have been pretty slow out there, quite a bit of Coho out there for late July, but they are pretty concentrated in thick pods, so it's pretty hit or miss for those out there.

Same goes with the Kings. Some folks are doing alright, kinda right time right place thing, Mid Channel Bank is the one bright spot in Area 9, where some kings are being caught regularly, but it's been tough for those in Area 9. Thats why fishing pressure is very low out there right now. People are just waiting for the fish to show or the fishing to heat up.

He was taking his boat out. I should have gotten specifics from him but I rarely fish the sound,so as usual...I wasn't paying attention. I'll see him in a few days to a week from now and post better info.

Thank you, I want to fish out in the sound but I will be on the dock. I see the kayakers out there but I don't want to go out in my 12 foot with just the oars. Too much work.

Like Shad Eating Grin said its fishing and hunting lies.
Fishing has been slow overall but I expect it should be picking up soon.
