I would guess that you had better call him MR. CATFISH .

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

This pic has been circulating around the internet since 2002. I believe I have it in my Photobucket in the sub album - World Records and Big Fish.
There is a lot of mystery that surrounds this picture as to where it was actually caught. Some say it was the new Texas State Record when it was caught and others said it was caught in North Carolina, Mexico and even Africa. Speculation went on for a long time until the truth came out that the fish was a Wels Catfish and was caught in Italy out of the Po River. So, no matter what you end up reading about this fish it is most likely a lie or grown tale. Do some research.
Still a monster fish no doubt, but Wels grow huge.
Hope this isn't useless info. I just remember when this story hit my fishing circle and the questions surrounding it. Pretty big deal at the time.

WOW! Crazy stuff man. The one "fisherman who lost control of his high-speed bass boat in West Virginia" is pretty disturbing. Nucking Futts is all I can say.
